Quality standards are strongest when everyone is aligned on processes and applies them consistently.

Over the last two weeks at Pepkor Product Sourcing offices and multiple factories across China, we delivered our full TWO EIGHT ONE QC Training & Certification programme to PPS’s team.

The programme included theoretical and practical sessions on inspection techniques, acceptable quality levels, defect classification, measurement, packaging, labelling, product and safety compliance, and CLIV App Training 

Following successful completion, PPS’s inspectors are now TWO EIGHT ONE certified QC Inspectors.

Members of both the Pepkor and TWO EIGHT ONE leadership teams also joined the sessions, reinforcing the importance of shared standards, clear communication, and continuous improvement across the quality process.

This is an important milestone in our commitment to supporting clients with practical expertise and consistent ways of working.

For us, this certification gives inspection teams the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make accurate assessments on the ground.  When quality teams work from the same framework, brands gain greater consistency, clearer reporting, and stronger control across their supply chains.
